Can I drive to Zilker Park?

Yes, it is possible to drive to Zilker Park and there is some parking available throughout the park. However, if you are attending a large event such as Austin City Limits, there is no on-site parking, and the area will have very limited parking options due to the high volume of attendees at the event. There are some parking lots in downtown Austin and surrounding areas that are approximately a 30-minute walk from Zilker Park.

Can I take food and drink into Zilker Park?

The food and drink policy varies depending on the event you are attending at Zilker Park. The Austin City Limits Music Festival has strict policies, and you are not permitted to bring your own food and drink into the venue. You are able to bring an empty, reusable water bottle or hydration pack, which you can fill at the hydration stations.

If you are visiting Zilker Park but not attending an event, you can bring your own food and drink to enjoy in the picnic areas (excluding alcohol).

Are children allowed into music events at Zilker Park?

Yes, you are allowed to leave the festival venue and re-enter up to 2 additional times after initial entry. Your wristband will be scanned, and you will go through security checks each time you enter.
